Ensure Plus Fibre Vanilla Scones Recipe

How to make scones using ensure plus fibre from scratch. 


1 pack of Ensure® Plus Fibre vanilla (200ml)

Self-raising flour (450g)

White sugar (50g)

Pinch of salt

Margarine (185g)

Whole milk (50ml)


  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F / Gas Mark 4
  2. In a large mixing bowl, sieve together the flour, sugar and salt
  3. Cut the margarine into small chunks and add to the flour/sugar/salt mixture
  4. Work the mixture with your fingertips until a breadcrumb texture is formed
  5. Add Ensure®Plus Fibre and milk, small amounts at a time, until a firm dough is formed
  6. Roll out onto a floured surface and cut the dough into round circles
  7. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes
  8. Serve either warm or cold

Serving suggestions:

Top with butter, jam and cream
