Neocate Spoon is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Neocate Spoon is a hypoallergenic amino acid based powder containing vitamins and minerals that mixes with water to form an unflavoured spoonable consistency, for the dietary management of infants and young children with cow's milk allergy and multiple food protein allergies. Suitable for infants from 6 months and young children.

INDICATIONS
For enteral use only. ACBS approved, prescribable on form FP10 (GP10 in Scotland) for the dietary management of Cows' milk allergy, multiple food protein allergies and other conditions requiring an amino acid-based food.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Not intended for a bottle or tube feeding. Not intended as a sole source of nutrition.

PRECAUTIONS
The Neocate range are Foods for Special Medical Purposes and must be used under medical supervision after full consideration of all feeding options, including breastfeeding. The product should be prepared immediately prior to feeding and any remaining should be discarded if not used within 1 hour. Neocate Spoon can be added to cooked dishes. Ensure the food feels warm to the wrist before adding Neocate Spoon. Do not add to very hot foods. Do not warm prepared product. Infants should receive Neocate Spoon as well as breastmilk or hypoallergenic infant formula.

STORAGE
Store unopened sachets in a cool, dry place. Opened sachets should be kept in an airtight container and used within 24 hours.
