Duocal Super Soluble Powder 400g

Duocal is a high energy, low electrolyte, neutral tasting powder providing a 4:1 ratio of n6:n3 fatty acids.

INDICATIONS
For enteral use only. ACBS approved, prescribable on form FP10 (GP10 in Scotland) for the following indications: Disease-related malnutrition, malabsorption states or other conditions requiring fortification with a fat/ carbohydrate supplement.

PRECAUTIONS
Must only be used under strict medical supervision. Not intended for use as the sole source of nutrition. Not for parenteral use.

PREPARATION AND DIRECTIONS FOR USAGE
The dosage should be determined by a clinician or dietitian only and is dependent on the age, body weight and medical condition of the patient. Super Soluble Duocal can be used to fortify a wide variety of drinks and foods. When adding to moist foods, sprinkle on the required amount and stir thoroughly. Alternatively, make a paste by gradually adding a small amount of water and mix the paste into the food. For drinks and infant formula, mix the required amount of Duocal with the dry formula and make as per instructions.

SHELF LIFE
Once opened use within one month.

STORAGE
Store in a cool dry place. Once opened use within one month. Once reconstituted store in the refrigerator and use within 24 hours.
