MCT Oil is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. MCT Oil is a liquid containing a mixture of medium chain triglycerides (MCT). For the dietary management of conditions where fat absorption or metabolism of LCT fat is impaired and a high MCT intake is indicated. It can be used in the dietary management of the MCT ketogenic diet. It is an unflavoured, nutritionally incomplete oil consisting of 100% MCT oil.

PRECAUTIONS

MCT Oil can be mixed with liquids or used as part of a modular feed. MCT oil should be introduced slowly into the diet as rapid absorption of large intakes may cause vomiting or diarrhoea. Must only be used under strict medical supervision. Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. For enteral use only.

PREPARATION AND DIRECTIONS FOR USAGE
The recommended dosage is dependent on the age, body weight and medical condition of the patient, and should be determined by a clinician or dietitian only. MCT Oil can be mixed with liquids or used as part of a modular feed. Shake well before use.

STORAGE
Store in closed containers, protected from light at 4-25??C. Once opened, replace the container lid and use it within one month. Always replace the container lid after use.
